Lumbeat apps- can you turn off run in background?

Just another thought bubble for this morning and for live ops....wondering if there is some iOS setting somewhere, but only to apply to the drum app NOT in focus at any given time.

Point would be, to be able to jump around the various Lumbeat IAA drum apps without needing to close totally and re-open all the time.

Why would you need to close the app? You can set them to an empty pattern if you don’t want them active

It's so I can control them with a foot pedal (pedal can only transmit on a single channel)....trying to avoid needing to setup everything in AUM. I have the beats etc noted on the live charts and I do an ad hoc sort of play list....only takes a few seconds to quickly select the correct drummer and enter song details manually, especially at a non (or very little) dancing gig.

  • I guess there is no way to do this....I could not find one anyway. Thanks for looking if you did :)
