How to work with independent loops?
Hi, Professor Loop here!
I wonder if there is a way so I can midi-trigg the clips so just one play at the time. I work with a tune with three different parts (A,B,C) and they shouldn´t sync with each other (they should be ”floating” free so all three has itś one tempo). So after recording the A-clip (orange) I will start record the B-clip (yellow) while the A-clip stops. And after that I will record the C-clip (green) while both A and B clips shall be stopped. So then I will have three independent clips to play around with with just one of them playing while the other two are stopped! Is this possible in loopypro? and if, how do I midi program it?

Turn off phase-lock and set record count-in/count-out to none.
Put the loops in a play group and set it to one at a time. That way only one clip can be playing or recording at once. The tempo will be set by the first recording. As long as you don’t use time-based quantizing the tempo doesn’t matter.
Thanks, just what I needed to know!
