Newbie question about FX and recording
I'd like some advice about how to get additional effects in Loopy Pro, similar to these that come with Launchpad (the app not the hardware).
I find it really easy to use these, though I know they're pretty basic, and I wondered whether there's an equivalent plugin with presets I could use as a beginner? I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the links and info on AUv3s here, and I don't know where to start.
Second question:
If I want to record the effects on a loop as I change and apply them, is the best way to send the audio from the loop I'm applying the effect to to another loop? Or is there a way to record the action independently of the audio?
Thanks!

Turnado might be an AUv3 of interest to you. It is a multi effects AU popular among loopers for these sorts of effects.
To record the effects being applied to a loop, record (re-sample) to another loop. Loopy doesn’t currently have automation recording.
p.s. there is a loopy pro category for Loopy Pro related questions. “General” is for iOS music apps that don’t have their own categories.
@DJPuff
Koala FX is a fun multi-FX app that you could use.. it has a couple presets with 8 scenes each.. an XY pad to morph between those scenes in that particular preset.. you can freeze (hold) the FX in any position you need.. very hands on..
Did I mention fun? Yeah, it’s a blast!
Great suggestion - looks like quite a complex one, but awesome.
Thanks for confirming that.
Oooh, I was a bit unsure of where to post - thanks for the guidance.
Thanks for the suggestion. Koala looks great for a start. 🤩
