Animoog Z: interface seems unresponsive on iOS 18.1 (iPhone)

edited November 2024 in General App Discussion

@MoogMusicInc
The title says it all. I'm running it on an iPhone 16 Pro. The app produces sound, but after you start playing keys, the rest of the interface becomes extremely unresponsive: can't change patches, adjust parameters, engage or disengage hold, etc. I don't see this problem on my iPad Pro 11 (M1), which is also on iOS 18.1.

Comments

  • Can't speak to 18.1, but working fine on an iPhone 13 Pro Max on 18.2.

  • A little more testing on 16 Pro. It’s fine when hosted in AUM. It’s in standalone that the UI becomes unresponsive.

    I’m having the problem on my iPad and iPhone. I was going to post a video but decided to be lazy.
    But i can’t change patches even when the patch selection screen is up.
    This is for both model d and animoog, and probably the other moog apps but i have yet to try em

  • Basically i have to restart the app a few times if i want to change patches and other parameters lock up
