Soon loopy will do that natively. Triggering with velocity, lp can do already. The pitch part is in the upcoming update.
Something need to be programmed into the trigger for velocity? Not happening by default.
In the midi binding, make sure Use Velocity is turned on
God I love Loopy Pro 🙏🏽🤟🏽
Thx so much.
Could not agree with you more.
Slowly starting spend more $ as days go by and I realize what is possible.
Started with a BT footswitch then mini keyboard > camera adapter > Hercules iPad clip for mic stand.
That's it for now.
Until tomorrow when I order my iPad Air M2.
+1
(It amazes me what the app can do; more capable than almost any other DAW in certain ways)
Been playing around trying to trigger one shots with a keyboard and footswitch depending on the sample.
Keyboard trigger worked right away.
When trying to trigger a one shot its working but there's a 1 sec delay before trigger happens.
Since one shot was giving me issues, tried it on a loop.
imported the sample to a loop.
Set it to free and play once.
Midi learn.
Same issue.
After you midi learn , does it say the trigger is on or hold?
Use a midi monitor to see what your pedal sends on press and release.
I am guessing your pedal isn’t sending on when pressed and off when released.
The wiki has a midi troubleshooting page that might help:

That was the problem.
I'm curious, are you part of the dev team?
Tech support here is stellar!
Thanks. I am part-time member of the team .
