What does your office look like? Is it good?
I'm pretty happy with my 2024-themed desktop 😃
Comments
What office. 😂 Okay, to be fair, one of my offices is the local coffee house. Otherwise my desk is my office, and it's cluttered to high heavens. 🤣
Oh no, everything here has to be tidy... I'm German after all 😄 although after living in Ireland for almost 8 years, some of my Germanness fell off the wagon...
I know the local coffee house office all too well too!
LOL! 😂 C64 is cool though not gonna lie. Fun computer for making chiptunes.
But yes, my desk is tidy in the sense that it's not filthy/full of dust/stains, etc. It's just paper stacks, unused plastic utensils (my tiny flat has neither a dishwasher nor stove/oven lol), paper plates, and dry art supplies (pencils, wax and oil pastels, sketchbooks, etc).
Bwahaha! 🤣 You won the thread, and it's barely got any footing yet.
Living the dream
This may offend German sensibilities, but I am part Polish so maybe that’s why I’m such a messy messer😆
Real c64 for the cynthcart (and odd game) also a Sid guts in the rack, and hidden away an eight chip Sid synth that I really need to use more😅
you should get that steering wheel midi'd up you your eurorack... kill two birds with one stone.
also, could be be a modern art statement. video of you playing F1 while the eurorack goes mental from the output.
You call that messy ? Far from it.
That’s probably the tidiest it’s ever been tbh, it’s now got a layer of work on it that’ll take me until new year to clear😅
That’s a fun thought!
And a more zoomed-out shot to show the most important occupant: the dog in her bed:
It was the computer I first learned programming on, like many in my generation 😊 and yes, the sound of the SID still resonates in my head, even though at 6 years, I didn't even know what it was 😄
😄 Remember I'm half-Irish now so no sensibilities (not that I'd have any to begin with...) offended...
Loads of gear there, reminds me of my old hardware studio. Long sold / put into storage most of it because of various moves between countries...
And your desk chair looks extra comfy 😁
Good stuff!
That's my style! Clean and everything at 90 degree angles! 😄
I hear you on the tidiness.
I've dismantled my rig and stuck the core of it in my bedroom
whilst I figure out how to reorganise my music room and
getting ready to take the rig out on the road.
Heads up some of the U.K dRambonauts are looking for venues to perform,...Loud.
Sauf East London and Peterborough is looking likely.
Your music room looks wicked.
I can imagine you playing away for days on end inside there.
Sign of of a creative for sure.
Ah cheers, and I’ve got a fair bit of Irish as well, I think everyone from Lancashire must have… the chair is comfy but if I sit on it, the cat gets upset, and the moment I lift my butt, she’s in there before I lean back down, so sadly it now belong her 😅😂
Ahh cheers, I have finally got it into a shape that really works for me, hopefully this winter I’ll get some chance to really dive into free creativity after a few months on commissions…
office?
that's a thing from past civilization that used to exist before COVID (and before the war here in Ukraine).
so i'm not sure how does it look like these days.
my workplace is my home since 2020.
will take a pic when blackout's over.
Sorry you're caught in that nightmare. Stay safe (and I guess leave, if you can).
Nice space there!
My office is my car. It’s a mess.
not really, we're used to this
especially my generation that survived perestroika, Chernobyl, collapse of USSR and the decade of chaos in 90s, and two revolutions before that covid thing happened.
