iPad stand -cheap aluminium Amazon - thoughts?
Hey guys.
I was considering a magnetic stand as there slick AF..
but... Realistically I use my iPad with a case on literally 100% of the time..
and magnet stands don't often like that.
So I'm thinking of going with standard (non-magnetic)..
This one features little feet/hook things to hold a tablet in place..I'm just winding either it might obscure the screen a bit at the bottom
(Will be mostly using AUM) -but haven't considered scenarios with other apps yet..
--opinions welcome, what do you think guys?

You've been here since 2016 and this is your first post?
I bought one of these recently: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07CG71KQ1?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_image
Specifically to be small and portable for using the iPad to display lead sheets at jam sessions, it’s worked fine, nice and compact, so doesn’t crowd the glasses of beer. I’ve not had a problem selecting leads sheets, though that’s hardly heavy duty touch control.
Huh?

I’ve been using that exact model for over five years. No complaints.
I've been very happy with these beauties. They're stable, adjust to any needed angle, and fold up reasonably small to tuck away in a backpack. Inexpensive too.

They don't have the slot and hole to deal with the cable in portrait mode, but I almost never use portrait mode and a cable at the same time.
[edit] oops. I just noticed "magnetic" in the OP. These are not magnetic. They're plastic.
Yep. I did. 🤷🏽
....Feel a bit weird to be checked up on like that not gonna lie... 😕
Everyone else: thanks for the feedback 👍🏻
I'm guessing the curiosity was over whether that was a spam posting.
I use this.
Detachable keyboard but you can reattach it to cover the screen when you are on the go.
Has an adjustable stand on the back and can sit vertical too.
I can’t see the post you posted cuz its for a different country
If I were in the market for a stand, that'd be one I'd go for. For less than 20 quid at that? I'd say go for it.
And that is rather odd for someone to spy on your profile like that. Ah well. If you feel the stand is right for you, definitely don't pass it up mate.
Holy shit. That's super nice, but expensive. 😬
It def was pricey… thankfully when i bought it they were selling returned ones for close to half the original price so it snagged up. Amazon always sells returns when available right under the new price!
“ Amazon renewed “
I may have missed it, but was the price mate?
I paid 89$ yikes lol but its listed at 128$
I probably won't buy it then. 😂 Looks amazing though, but I'd rather stick to my plan of buying N-Track tomorrow.
I got this one for about $20AUD last year. Unfortunately showing out of stock right now but I like the design. You can angle the iPad to nearly horizontal if you're standing up. Also suits me to have the bottom edge off the desk to slide a keyboard or controller under the front.
