JamUp pro/D.I./recording dry
How would I go about, achieve with JamUp pro(on my ipod, haven't decided which ipad to buy yet) record a dry and wet signal into a DAW? When I record with JamUp, right into Multitrack, is it a wet D.I. track? If I mic an amp, and record into an ios DAW that way, What are my options to also record dry? I've never thought about how I would mic my amp, and record into an ios DAW? I always just record directly into the DAW.
I have a musician I'm working with in Pakistan who is requesting both dry and wet guitar recordings. I have no idea how to go about this. Do I need to incoorperate something like this into my recording process? http://www.amazon.com/ROLLS-DB24-Stereo-Direct-Interface/dp/B001032GK8
I also have Reaper DAW on my desktop. Is there an option that is easier, achievable recording JamUp into my desktop? With both the wet and dry guitar signal simultaneously?
I hope this makes sense. Sorry for my ignorance, but I have a very limited knowledge with recording, except for the very basics. I'd really like to send this guy what he needs/wants as far as both guitar signals.
Help, thanks!

I found this in a comment seciton of a review, is this something to the affect I am looking to do? What is "Feeds a DI"?
"""I'm a bassist. When I found Jamup it totally changed the way I look at my live rig. Using an Apogee Jam as my interface, I run Jamup on my iPhone 4S. My iPhone gets clipped to my mic stand, then feeds a DI which splits my signal between my stage amp (used strictly as a monitor) and the FOH. My bass sound is the best I've ever had, and I've been playing bass since 1981!! Jamup is here to stay as my live/recorded/practice bass preamp.""""
I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, by the sound of this post, I could use it to record into Auria, just need to decide on an ipad. Or, use audiobus to do it, somehow?
""""""Am I oversimplifying it by just thinking you can record your wet signal from Audiobus and your dry signal directly in Auria? Input matrix setup for audiobus on track one and just direct input for track two. This has been working for me anyway"""""""""
The above sounds like a simple thing. But, I can't wrap my mind around it. Anyone able to dumb it down even more?

in Audiobus, just set:
mic input > MTDAW output (this will record the dry signal)
and an additional Audiobus track with mic input > JamUp effect > MTDAW output. (this will record wet)
You'll also have to figure out how to arm and record two tracks simultaneously in MTDAW. If not possible, just put AudioShare in one of those outputs and record it separately.
I don't have MT DAW, but it works in Auria fine.
Auria even automatically sets up and labels both inputs separately as different stereo tracks and arms them, ready to record. "JamUp Pro" is wet and "Audiobus" is dry.
