Michael Levy - Tyrannosaur (The JWM Rework) (French Touch Disco in NS2)

So the other day my good mate @LinearLineman contacted me and asked me to do a rework of his track, to slice it up and turn it into a Disco banger. I used Nanostudio 2 for this feat. These are the results.

For drums, I used the LinnDrum L2 pack from KB6 audio. Although the hall kick came from the Deadmau5 XFer pack. For bass, I used the Madrid plugin for the slap bass, and I used Obsidian to add the sub. To fill out the bass layers, I added a 303-styled bassline in the background courtesy of Troublemaker.

The Disco guitars are from Santa Ana. The piano is the M1 Piano preset in Marseille. The high string is Tape Strings 3 from the Module Pro Mellow IAP pack. Everything else you hear is Mike's very own amazing production as heard here.

For mastering I used the usual suspects - Grand Finale 2, a limiter, and Youlean's Loudness Meter. Cheers and enjoy. (And now, back to more Ambient electronica, lol.)

P.S. Yes, that generated album cover makes me laugh my arse off. 😂
