Master Fx- How Intensive is this app?
i'm running an iPad 3 wondering if I get this in where can I fit this in, thinking possibly run my sampler through it but would it be viable to run it and another app on an iPad 3 simultaneously ?
Comments
I'm going to buy them while they're on sale. My ipad 2 may struggle, but WHEN I can afford to upgrade it, then I've already got the apps and all for the right price!
how much is the sale?
All of Igor's apps worked fine on my iPad 2
I've done it on an ipad2, 7.1. On that I was not able to utlizie all the effect slots in Master Fx, but was able to to get what I needed (3 i think), of course ymmv.
so when do you guys reach for master fx, considering you've got turnado, cs spectral, or other multifx apps?
I think MasterFx is a clean running app, similar in load to the AUFX apps. I routinely hook up my guitar and run all 6 effects options at once through AB and never a problem. Nice clean subtle effects that really enhance most things going through it. My favorite effects app.
Sale is 50%, definately worth it
no doubt the price is worth it, just trying to go by where I'd place the functionality in my process
@kobamoto: place it in the middle! Hee hee...
how much CPU/ ram hit does it take on a iPad 2?

I bought it on sale and it worked just great on my iPad2. It's a good idea to run AudioBus at 512 frames with any kind of effects. But with this setting I played guitar (Flying Haggis) through it. Very lush reverb and delay effects, and even having an EQ did a lot to tweak my sound. Didn't notice any slowdown from this.
