Korg stretched wood
Sounds very nice indeed

dumb question given i am a completist, and buy all, but: we have so many pianos, is this one worth yet another two thousand seven hundred eighty ISK?
As a pianist, I will say it really sounds warm and vibrant to my ears. (Most pianos on iOS range from cheap-sounding to clean-but-sterile.) Twenty quid is indeed eye-watering for an IAP that delivers only one category of sound. 😅 But in this case it's "quality over quantity". Ymmv, and you may wish to not purchase it as other piano sounds on iOS are more than good enough to fit in a mix, but I can hear myself using this for solo piano works. 😌
I appreciate your notes as always. My wallet does not, but I truly was already doomed
😂 Our poor wallets.
yes its expensive but as JWmm. . etc said it sounds very warm.
It's very nice sounding, but I'm much less enthusiastic about sampled pianos these days because the response of Pianoteq is so much better - and for this to release so soon after the outstanding Shigeru Kawai is just terrible timing.
"LOUPS" I have both and agree. But that sound of the stretched wood is very warm
I've never been one for physical modelling, at least as of right now. It's so expensive for starters (not that the new Module IAP isn't expensive for what it is lol), but afaik physical modelling can bog down a processor. Maybe I'm just making shit up in my head without realising it though. 😅
Pianoteq is baller AF - but we can have both (if your wallet allows?)
Hahaha! You used my phrase "baller af". Bro! 😂 That just made my night.
And maybe so, but I'm not sure what the new Cubasis 3.7 update will bring. If there are any IAPs, my money will go towards that first.
The great thing about Pianoteq though is that you can try so much for free - and taking up virtually no storage - and you can take as long as you want to decide for yourself where the sound/feel/controls/processor hit/price fall for you. Doesn't matter about making shit up, you can confirm for yourself.
I wasn't aware of a free trial. Sounds good. Will check once I am awake again.
Wtf is pianoteq? I hear people mention this shits all the time. What makes it so boss?
And many, many more videos, reviews, threads (including here).
