When do you dump tracks?
This year I have come on leaps and bounds with getting tracks to a mostly finished and listenable state.
I do however find difficulty letting go of a track. I am starting to realise, that while I have great procedures to start tracks, I am spending too long on many tracks that are not going anywhere!
I find that my tracks often only start to really take shape after a few days of serious tinkering, but by that point, I feel that I’ve invested an amount of time where by I struggle to let go of a track that’s not really going anywhere.
So, how do you overcome this issue? What ideas or techniques to help you move on from a track?

I don't move on from tracks. I just give up when I decide to publish so I can work on the next one.
Following this thread as this is a great question i'm sure others have, myself included.
