    same I said on YT. that is a lovely sound.
    I'm not super fond of the backtrack though. Its quality definitely doesn't match you're playing.

    Many years ago I lived and worked in northern Thailand and I spent some time with a hill-tribe in the Chiang Dao mountains , and every time I went up and down those mountains (with motorcycle), this song was playing like a movie in my head ("these mist covered mountains - Are home now for me").

    The power of music is that every time I hear it now, I'm back there (good times).

    Your guitar playing is excellent as always.

    I was not a fan of dire strait, but this song is really special. I didn't understand the lyrics (English is not my mother tong), but I could feel the nostalgia... It is still a beautiful song, against war.
    And your cover is excellent. Thank you!!!
