I can't find them in the appstore

Do they still work in iOS18?

It looks like the dev has removed both of them:

  • Hmm, I can see them in the UK store, might be that EU thing again?

  • thanks for the infos. yeah, im in germany

  • I don't see them in the US app store either FWIW

Weird, I’m in the UK and can only see Gliderverb and Dub Filter. No Daedalus or Moebius Lab, or the Limiter. The Limiter is showing in my purchased list, I have never got round to buying Daedalus or Moebius.

Thinking about it, didn’t their stuff disappear previously?

Can you? I’m in the UK and can only see DubFilter and GliderVerb in the AppStore. The other Amazing Noises apps aren’t there?

Yep, UK here and only the two apps showing.

  • Ah sorry, I’m only in my phone so I can see those apps as well, but not any iPad specific ones, even weirder

  • I’ve just seen on the Beepstreet forum that iOS 18 has broken Impaktor (it’s being fixed) and given lots of the older Virsyn apps needed fixing to work on iOS 18 recently, I’m guessing that’s the culprit here too?

Hopefully if so they’ll be fixed and reappear?

I see that the website also says Moebius and Limiter are no longer available

  • Anyone who’s updated to iOS 18 able to check if they’re still working?

I’m on the latest iPad OS on an Air M1. I’ve just opened them all stand alone and the AuV3 ones in AUM and with a cursory glance they seem ok - not a all encompassing test, but they do at least open and seem to initially work

Same here. All working both stand alone and AUv3 in AUM and ApeMatrix for me.

  • @Fruitbat1919, @Shiloh, that’s good to hear. Makes it all the more intriguing as to why they’ve been removed?

Since they are working on desktop plugins as Aqusmatiq Audio these days, maybe these iOS ones have been removed from sale because new improved versions are to be released for desktop and they no longer feel the old iOS versions do the new ones justice? Certainly a new version of Dedalus was released for desktop as their first release.

  • Or, maybe they just don't sell enough to make ongoing maintenance sustainable, and knowing that, they don't want to sell to more people that they eventually might let down. I can think of other reasons as well that could be the cause of taking them off of the market.

Back 'em up with iMazing if you can, just in case they get pulled entirely. They probably won't, but you never know.

Yes, there’s lots of possibilities of course, i was just speculating.

That’s a loss: Limiter is in every AUM project for me. I guess I can use AUM’s built in limiter node if it disappears completely or stops working, but it’s sad they can’t maintain it.

As their apps disappeared for a while before, and it was temporary, I'm guessing this is too. I've emailed the dev, let's see, fingers crossed.

  • Maybe they just do this from time to time to get some free publicity here lol, as it seems nobody gives af about these apps any more except when they go missing 🤣 (joke joke, I actually use limiter all the time myself btw)

It seems weird that they would've updated their website if it was accidental though

I don't think they're updating the site - that 'unavailable' message is surely just the app store sending back that info? If they had permanently removed these and wanted to update their site to reflect that, surely they'd remove these pages altogether? My money is definitely on this being a temporary blip of some kind

Aah I hadn't thought that these could be automatically generated, good point

No probs! U just reminded me btw that I got a reply from the dev a few hours ago confirming that this is just a temporary thing while some bugs are being fixed. They'll be back on the store soon
