Logic Pro (iPad) Disables ADAT Clock Sync On Interface —> Possible Fix
New rig and a weird bug. Main interface is a Focusrite Clarett+ 2Pre with 8 additional inputs from a Behringer ADA8200 which is connected to the Clarett via ADAT optical. The Clarett only has ADAT in, not out, so the Behringer is set to be the Master for clock sync.
- Works perfectly on a MacBook with Logic Pro for Mac
- Works perfectly on the iPad with AUM
- Launching Logic on the iPad disables the ADAT clock sync between the units, which kills any audio
Wondering if anyone else has encountered something like this. All suggestions would be appreciated.

Since I posted the question, I stumbled upon an unusual workaround. I had previously mentioned that launching AUM worked fine, causing the ADA8200 (master) and Clarett (slave) to sync to the word clock being generated by the Behringer.
On a whim, I tried opening AUM, waiting a moment for the word clock to lock, then opening Logic Pro. To my surprise, the devices remained sync-locked and Logic is able to receive digital audio from the Behringer through the Clarett. Funky but easy enough to live with, assuming it stays stable.
