Importing presets into Bram Bos Ripplemaker
I am having a little problem trying to export Ripplemaker presets that I have made on one iPad and sending them to another. I exported the presets as a zip and sent them via airdrop to my other iPad. When it says "open in", the only choice I see is Animoog. How can I import them?
Thx

Maybe use documents by readdle as middleman, I never encountered this problem but the share sheet, whatever, may no recognize zip directly (understandable as it’s a zip, but last I remember RM could import a zip)
I will try more with it, but when I tried to open it on my iPad , the choice was only Animoog.
Hi. You say "open", but what you need to do is "share" the zip with Ripplemaker. Select the file, then tap on the share icon, box with up arrow. Ripplemaker should show in the array of icons at the top. This is the normal way of passing a file to an app in iOS.
Edit: You may need to tap on the … at the end of the icons to see the full list.
Where is the .zip file located? Is it in the Files App On My iPad, or in some other app, like Documents or File Explorer?
Because it’s a zip, a generic file that the OS doesn’t know where to open at. Somehow I think documents app makes a guess or has more app options
If Im reading correctly there’s no option for ripple. This may be that thing where ios can’t possibly list all possible apps that would open a zip
I couldn’t make a download work for another Bram Bos app, until I tried another file and it worked fine, so it could be a corrupted file. If you downloaded the file as I did, try downloading it again.
Yes!! That worked..Thank you:)
