Behringer JT Mini

I just pre-ordered one for $99 USD. I've wanted to try using a "real analogue" synth but wasn't willing to spend much money. This looks like a great option.

  • That looks cool! Enjoy. :)

  • I might be incorrect (it’s hard to see ports on my phone), but it looks like you can only power it via USB. That tends to result in a very high noise floor for the audio output. You could be lazy like me and just embrace the noise as part of your aesthetic, or you could try a USB isolator if it turns out to be a problem.

Either way, I hope you have lots of fun with it and post some recordings!

Quite a few synths suffer with that if powered from a hub. I always power my usb devices from a usb charger plug. Cuts out the noise.

That's a very good suggestion. I will listen for any hum or noise when I receive the synth.

Have heard of people using a battery power bank for the same reason.
