I had a souncloud and youtube but that was like 10 years ago
What do you guys recommend as an easy, free way to embed videos here on the forum? Something like just recording a screen grab of the song, I could do fancy videos but not inclined yet, I just want to post a video of my song without trouble or much effort
Yeah I have (free) dropbox, and the cheap 5Gb apple offers per account. But I’d rather not host there.
Any simple sites that let you do this reliably (even if temporary)?
I should just create a new youtube account, right?
I initially used a free SoundCloud for posting on here, but don’t really have the desire to pay for a full account at this stage of me learning making and posting music. So, yeah I think making YouTube vids is relatively simple, quick and easy.
Like most things, there are always ways to improve what and how you post, but YouTube seems a reasonably good starting point in my opinion.
That sounds reasonable, though youtube turned into its own can of worms.
I was wondering about not-total-crap sites, that let you host a 200Mb video for instance

It’s a bit of my own flavor of boom bap hip hop 🙏
Velocity: make some of your hats hit harder and some hit softer. Same with all your drums. A real drummer wouldn’t hit ever note at the same velocity. Mix up the velocities of each note so that it creates dynamics.
Also mixing in different hits, like this guy, it’s a masterclass of sequencing drums with swing:
