Connect macOS Gadget Taipei to Korg collection ARP 2600

If anyone has both macOS Gadget and Korg collection ARP 2600, can you find a way to make Taipei send sequencing to Korg collection’s ARP 2600 – I can’t

  • It’s looking like buying the Gadget 3 upgrade and Korg ARP 2600 was a bit of a waste of money (except it was when that telescoping sale of theirs was on so the ARP 2600 was not as harmful as it could be) – I see no way to use Gadget 3 macOS to propel the ARP 2600 app despite both being from Korg

Also Gadget 3 macOS won’t acknowledge the existence of Korg OpSix Native either despite both being from Korg

Today however I discover that Gadget 3 macOS will work with Moog model D, and also the Moog model 15, on my i9 MacBook Pro, despite that the latter two are not from Korg, which tells me that TaiPei can in fact sequence a Mac software synth, only not ones that Korg themselves make, which is just utterly fucking moronic

Are you sure that Taipei cannot sequence KORG softsynths? It's just MIDI after all...
You might need to set up an aggregate device in Audio/Midi setup to route MIDI on MacOS.

Have you tried activating the IAP midi driver in Audio/Midi setup on the Mac? That is the Mac equivalent of Core MIDI on iOS. I was unable to send midi from DAWs to Koala until I enabled the IAC driver, then there it was.
