    Yonac stuff 50% off again!

Already have just about everything. Interested to see what he does next. Would really like to see him bring those synths to desktop. 😀

Yeah I have most of everything too, aside from Kaspar and Kauldron, and I really don’t need anymore VA synths

  • Thank you sir. Eric Sigth sales are usually very short so jump on it if you want it.

  • thanks for sorting that out @gsdsp

We appreciate you and your work. Cheers!

Woah, that Tardagrain was a one day sale. Should have grabbed it.

Yeah, that is typically how Eric does his sales, very rare and very short. I’ve been looking for a sale on shapesynth for about 2-3 years now, lol. Honestly though it is very reasonably priced anyways, especially if you're in the market for a granular synth.

The original version would be updated soon (only once) and then be removed from the App Store in favor of this new version that has quite a lot of new features and bug fixes.

It's very likely this new version would also remain free. :)

That's a bit concerning. So, what if "very likely" turns into not that likely at all. Will those who bought be be grandfathered into the new version. I'm sure there's a reason but from this user perspective it's just seems like a replacement of the same app for no obvious reason.

GSDSP seems to have a sale going on too:
    https://apps.apple.com/us/developer/gustav-scholda/id1642323227

(Considering finally getting one from the Magic-series - the question is just which one…)

Well this sucks. The bundle I want is not available in Australia. That's a bit rude to the poor Aussies.

Maybe an accident or oversight. I’m pretty sure Gustav is a member of the forum you could dm him and ask.

PS. He created a thread recently about all the GSDSP apps being updated.

    Thanks, I'll contact @gsdsp

Unfortunately I missed the notification for this mention. Which bundle isn‘t available in Australia? I‘ll double check but all plugins and bundles should be available everywhere!

    Quantum Bundle 2

Thank you, I just reported this to Apple. It‘s weird because everything seems to be fine but when I try to open it in the App Store it shows as not available..

@Ailerom it should work now, at least it does now here in Austria (which is almost the same, just no kangaroos) - sorry for the inconvenience!

We do have a very strong beer drinking culture, but no bundle yet.

There are currently no plans to make the app not free. Also, if you get it for free now you won't suddenly be charged for it in the future - the app as it is now would remain free.

The trigger to replace Beat Scholar with another app was technical - we switched to a new business entity in the US and Apple made it clear to us that the only way to continue distributing Beat Scholar was to create another app for it under the new entity.

We also realized the app store offers no obvious mechanism to "give" an owner of the old app a license to the new app. So we realized the simplest solution to existing (and new) users was to make the app free and focus on selling our desktop products, instead.

We plan to keep updating Beat Scholar and keep it free.

We really appreciate you explaining the situation. It’s great to know the plans to update and keep it free. I bought it when released and I was able to enjoy it for that period of time. I’ll continue to enjoy the new version. Beat Scholar is a great application! Cheers!

For anybody still considering MuseBud, Cem has provided the list of exposed parameters (it’s all mostly about the looper).

    @cem_olcay

Is this only on the TestFlight version? My AU params aren't exposed like this...

Hmm, weird. He didn't mention a distinction, but I have noticed inconsistencies in exposed parameters between bud apps, and no manuals to reference, which is why I asked Cem directly. If the info is incorrect, that's a little frustrating. :/

Thanks for the info. I've bought everything you've made, desktop and iOS. Just wanted to see what was coming, as someone who wants to keep using your fine products.

Yea, I forgot to mention that. I downloaded it when it went free during the November sales, but never signed up. I do think it’s to keep the account across desktop and devices. One can always go with an alternative email address, set up for things like this, or the Apple hide my email, or even a free temp email.
    Thanks for mentioning. Cheers!

  • Not sure if I mentioned…

Another Jens Guell App is free

JAX SR Reductor is free usually $9.99

It's currently 14.99 on my end

Edit: just double checked, and yes AppRaven claims free, but it's not on the appstore
