I can no longer see the dates of posts, just month/year

First noticed this today: in the forum I used to be able to see the exact date each post was written, now I can only see “December 2024“. Was this changed on purpose?

    For me, posts in the current month show the date, posts in previous months show only the month and year. I suspect the forum software is treating posts from 2024 differently than the ones in this year.

    To my knowledge nothing has been changed in the forum configuration so I naturally suspect the most recent change, which is the year.

    I suppose we’ll have to wait until February to see if I’m right. 😉

    I checked using the wayback machine, and yes, that’s how the forum has always treated posts in the previous year.

    Ah thanks, so it’s not the previous month but previous year that is shown without date? that makes sense
