One Set of Pedals with Different Midi Keyboards/Devices
I was recently searching for a solution to share my sustain and expression pedals with more than one keyboard and came across DOREMIDI and their line of midi pedal converters. The product description for their MPC 10 and MPC 20 pedal converters specifies compatibility with iOS devices.
Does anyone have experience with any of these units?
I have different midi keyboards and they don’t all use the same pedal polarity. It would be great to be able to use one set of pedals between all devices and per the specs it looks like the MPC 10 and 20 are able to compensate for differences in polarity patterns via auto-detection.
If anyone has experience and can confirm iOS compatibility and how pedal polarity is handled on iOS it would be much appreciated (there is a desktop config app).
I currently have to use different sustain pedals for my Nektar impact and Akai MPK mini plus for example.
