Selecting channels

Hi folks I’ve created a cover of Can’s Chain Reaction to jam to, but I can’t work out how to change focus of my BlueBoard cc’s to a different channel. It’s set up nicely on the first channel to be able to scroll along the clips and back. I have a second BlueBoard and was thinking I might need that. …
thanks if you can help, Steve

What gives you the impression that you need to change the channel the CC's are on?

If you explain the specifics of how you are using the CC's, we can advise you better. You probably don't need to change the CC channels.

By channel, do you mean color? Row? MIDI Channel?

You can have different profiles and switch between them to use the same cc's address different targets.

  • Hi, yes colour, with one colour per horizontal row and audio channel.
Looking for a way to access all the clips in the matrix.
I was switching fwd and back along the top row with cc 20 & 21 from the BlueBoard. I was thinking by assigning different midi channels I can direct the cc’s to any particular row of clips.

I hadn’t thought of flipping between profiles within a project, I was using the profiles as a global thing you set for a particular project or set of projects.
I will try what you suggest, thankyou.
So, use a widget that steps through the profiles? (Once I’ve set them up).

You can set up a widget to do it and set up a midi binding to the widget if needed.

  • Much appreciated 😎
