  • Just a quick piece of "worship" Ambient for today. I chucked this out in about 30 minutes, because honestly I didn't have enough time to work on a proper piece of Ambient. 😂 The synth pads are Zeeon, and the guitar is a HALion sound. All done in Cubasis 3.

The idea was to provide an example of Eventide's Blackhole and ShimmerVerb in action. While quickly made, this piece is not too bad. A better piece tomorrow for sure.

  • I think...I am officially burnt out on Jamuary this year. 😂 No, I'm not burnt out on producing music. The reason I'm throwing in the towel for Jamuary is I'm working on paid client work. Plus, I want to put more thought and effort into my future Ambient endeavors. If I _do_manage to produce any personal Ambient works during the remainder of this month, I'll just tag with "Jamuary" on SoundCloud and post here in my journal.

Then again, there were some days I managed to churn out two pieces of Ambient in a single day, so in a way that sort of makes up for me throwing in the towel now in favour of working on client work. Thanks to those of you who took time to listen to my works this month. :) Always appreciated.

And therefore, I finished this piece in about an hour. Four instances of Flowtones set to 432Hz tuning. Cascade and Stratosphere on their own respective send busses. (The bass and 16th note pattern worked best with Stratosphere, but the pads and upper melody worked best with Cascade in this case.)

Anyways, hope you all enjoy this one. I like it better than "A Minimal Attempt".

I like this. Aboriginal Bladerunner vibes. A song in itself and a good basis for building another on top.

That's a cool comparison. I love the Bladerunner soundtrack! ❤️ Could be cool to sample in another track for sure. ❤️
