Automating Pattern Switching in Cubasis

Hoping for some knowledge from the Cubasis brains trust :) I'm wanting to switch patterns in a midi au (specifically Euclidean Sequencer from 4 Pockets) and I am assuming that the only way to do this is via automation? I can see the auv3 parameter in Cubasis however trying to "draw" pattern change data seems near impossible. I am sure I am missing something. Is there anyway to put a point in on the automation line with a specific value that relates to the pattern?

At present I'm just recording midi to the timeline for each pattern which is a workable workaround however I'd love the fluidity of being able to edit patterns and not have to record them again each time.

Thanks for any help!

Not a direct answer to your Cubasis question, but in Euclidean Sequencer you can long-press the Midi Chord Recognition button. When you long-press this button, it will open a built-in pattern sequencer.
    Hope that helps.

Oh this is super useful! Thanks so much @CracklePot. I must remember to long press things more in 4 Pockets apps 😝

  • Yay! 😁
