Southern Snow

I'm sure some of you further north might be used to having a lot of snow but here in Texas we only get the occasional dusting. This year's was a bit more. Ares doesn't seem to mind.

Be safe, stay warm, and have fun making music.

  • It also snowed 3-4 inches in Alabama where my friend Jody lives. He showed me pics. I'm surprised.

Just looked it up. Most years Birmingham and Montgomery collect less than an inch of snow per year, Mobile typically doesn’t see any. Apparently there was a heavy snowstorm in March, 1993 that was dubbed the "Storm of the Century," with 12 to 18 inches of snow falling across Central Alabama. Never would have imagined that.

Whoa! That's definitely a lot of snowstorm, and definitely one of the "storms of the century".
