Thank you! I hope you have a lovely, strange and beautiful day. I’m just an old grey, old-school hippie. Peace and love, brother.

  • Alien inspiration seems to be going around these days 😀

Another cool track. I like the way you used the space in this. It feels big without sounding like it's drenched in reverb. The panning effects are noticeable but not in a distracting way, and as usual your sound design is top notch.

Hope you are doing well. We got a lot of snow the past couple of days (at least for my neck of the woods)so I've been working on videos and enjoying a little bit of extra free time.

  • Very cool track. Observations by @Madeofwax are spot on, the way you used space a the panning are cool. You use lots of sounds and none clash or compete for attention. I like the open 5th string instrument pluck (guitar) that seems the be the quiet in the storm, nice contrast effect. Curious, do you mix in headphones? Your tracks always sound so good in mine (Sony MDR-7506).

Oh, and that picture with the tree branches forming a face is cool. I’m guessing it’s a made up image but cool anyway. In South Korea my wife took a picture of a famous tree that forms the exact shape of the country.

Hi Mac! We’ve been getting some serious snow. After almost seventy years, it’s just the same old thing. Karen gets to keep her car in the garage. I have to scrape the ice on mine in the driveway. That’s just what the man does. I’m the man. It’s what I do for my girl.

Hi Dav! This is just a collage of stuff that I put together over a few days. Karen had to work today, and I took a vacation day and slept until 7:30. It’s snowing here. I decided to play with my iPad instead. I also use some decent Sony headphones. They are pretty flat. I did a few CDs and played them on my Toyota Corolla. If that sounds good, I’m okay with that.

Did you recognize any of the Blocs Wave samples?

I was sure I’ve heard some of those percussion samples in blocs wave, trying to locate the one I’m liking. I bought a couple of the contemporary packs that have similar drums sounds.

We’re even getting some snow down my way tonight (NC), first snow here in several years. They say it’s going to be mostly ice though when it’s done. That’s bad news - we don’t know how to drive in it down here.

  • Nice and eerie. Great work, @Paulieworld

Thank you so much! I really enjoy this iPad music stuff. It’s almost anticlimactic to finish something and post it. I think Steve Jobs once said… the journey is the reward. Have a good one!

  • @Dav I have been driving in this stuff for all my life and I’m used to it. Just take your time, watch out for idiots, and keep in mind that Spring will be here soon.

  • Nicely different Paul, didn’t outstay its welcome, good stuff 👌
