  • Wow, thanks !!

Def going to keep my eye on this one. The quick vid makes it seem like a much better layout!
Chord generator is becoming my go to, but scaler apps are always awesome and this will probably be a must have

  • This is great news! Thank you

  • New UI looks great. I hope they rebuilt this one…Scaler 2 is one of my only regret purchases out of a couple hundred, just because it runs like a turtle in molasses

Haha i still dig it now that i figured out the flow but i just don’t open it for that same reason haha but the sequencer and strumming shit is dope

Yes - I like it - but like you said - it's pretty resource-hungry and it is huge.
My guess is Scaler 3 is even bigger - probably does more, too. But if they beef up the efficiency (less DSP for more results) then that would be a bargain.

  • Oh snap, “gamechangier”

  • I’m ready to buy 😂

  • Lord, I hope it’s not a subscription model.

    Or based on AI 😉

    It’s not

  • Note that the iPadOS release is slated for the second quarter of the year. They have an iPhone version planned as well.

    wooohoooo gamechangier fursure

  • Now we are talking!

  • Seems to be getting more DAW like with timelines think Helium.

  • I kind of like the timeline approach if I can construct a short section all in one instance and drag and refine with daw midi tools.

    iPhone version? Thank God.

Course I might be able to afford an iPad by then lol

Agreed, especially since it looks like you can combine different patterns/performance modes or whatever Scaler calls them (been a minute since I used the app), plus a full piano roll and other new bells & whistles.

    Looking great.

  • I wonder if there'll be an upgrade price for iPad as there has been stated for desktop?

  • Have they said it’s coming for iOS? I haven’t actually seen that said anywhere

  • Yes, it's coming, but a bit later. If they want to do upgrade pricing for iPad then perhaps they must be informed that having bundle pricing on day 1 of launch has been problematic for other developers in the past. Perhaps it can be done with good preparations.

  • Ooooo this looks really good

I checked that out yesterday. It looks great but he kept saying “just like Scaler 2”. While I absolutely expect some similarities I want to know all the ways it’s different and improved over Scaler. Apparently they are doing a video every week to highlight this new version…hopefully they will really dive into the improvements.

  • I hope they keep 2 up on the App Store.

For sale? Or for download if you already own it.
It's highly unlikely that they would remove it from download for existing owners. There would be no reason to do so.

  • This is an interesting new direction…

  • I’m really looking forward to this.
