hc here, trying to record rock the old fashion way

Hi there,
I am from the Netherlands and using loopy pro on my ipad to record rock and other music mainly using guitar. My aim is to first record ideas / riffs / chord progressions and So on.
Then to lay down track, one per loop for guitar 1 and guitar 2 and bass and keyboard/ hammond and then vocals. I want it all to be stereo too where that makes a difference.
I am having trouble getting it all to work as I want, so thats why I am joining here.
Recording with a boss katana and a spark and a boss loop station as input.

You use loopy pro for recording track?

    You'll get plenty of help here. Just try to be as specific as possible about what you're trying to do and particularly the problems you're having. The Loopy Pro Discord is also a good place to ask questions.

    Welcome ! My personal two cents is you should get a traditional DAW. Get that working for you. It’s going to be way easier in you. Then after if you want to branch out you can go crazy.

    Thank you for the welcome! The old fashion way is I am not looping mainly with this app, but recording. I also use real wooden guitars a lot 😀

    I have used traditional daws but really like the graphical loopy pro thing more. And I am afraid I always want things that are not the obvious choice. Thanks for the advise though, that does make sense.

    I don't blame you. I'm not a fan either. Some of the users there are at a totally higher level than I've seen elsewhere though.

    Anyway, I expect you'll get the answers you need here if you're specific about your questions. The side benefit of having that process happen here is more people visit will benefit from the answers you get as well.
