    oh cool thanks

  • If you are ok with the limitation of monophonic sounds I think MultitrackStudio can convert audio-midi-audio.

  • What kind of audio? It makes a big difference.

MIDI Guitar 2 (and MIDI Guitar 3 beta) are mainly geared toward guitar but should work for other sounds as well.

  • yeah, i’m just trying to take audio from like a youtube video or something, and convert that audio to just get the basic barebones melodies or chords. so i can remix songs

Not many apps do well with polyphonic material. None do well with multi-instrument audio. You would need to stem-split first to have any hope of getting anything usable.

Don't get your hopes up too high.

There are sites where you can provide a YouTube link and they generate a read out of the chords. And I think some will generate a transcription . There is some sort of plugin also that generates a musescore transcription from YouTube links. Do a web search to find details
