Drambo retrig offset / rate
I feel like I’ve seen it done, but I’m not figuring it out…
Can you change the rate of a retrig …and/ or set the offset for when the retrig comes in.
I might want it to be delayed a lil bit longer, and then at a different rate…
Also… can you do a negative offset for a trig / retrig??
Thank you drambonites.

Id like some triggers to be 1/16th notes and others 1/32 and etc…. I feel like im missing the obvious here but still no bueno!
The best I've been able to come up with is to add duplicate notes each with a different offset and a Random Chance before it. I then added a One Of Many before those to limit to only one retrig. It works nicely without the one of many too though.
Are you sure you were using step components before, and not just the Midi retrig module with p-locks?
Thanks win…
I am just using the midi retrig atm….. with p locks … so i need to load up a different module first?
This here works for me, but I'm not sure of all that you might be trying to accomplish. I p-locked both the number of steps and the division in my test.

You could jigger up something with the graphic shaper or other modules as well I'm sure.
I’ll give that set up a go… also found this retrigger module which seems like it is “kinda” close to what I’m looking for. But its a lil funky…
Basically id like to just retrig how elektron gear lets you just pick and event…. and then simply just select the rate for the repeat… it would be awesome in drambo tho!! It is very simple and straightforward.
@reasOne
Try this.
Add the note and rhythm you want for the fill in the Sequencer module.
Select speed via the Scale Time module.
Set Buttons module to momentary.
Press the button whenever you want rachets/fills/alternative melodie’s etc.
Map to midi controller when performing.
Automate using the Buttons module (set Buttons module to switch when automating).
That would be p-locking of the Rate knob in the Retrig module as shown by @wim.
Negative offset would need a bit more work than that.
Where are those Mark Giuliana hats from? Did you sample them yourself?
With the help of @offbrands we were able to recreate your magical machine here haha! I don’t know drambo that well but he was able to work it out what ya built here!
This was also making some very fine results, thank you fellas! I’m trying to build a few things in drambo to prevent me from wanting the digitakt 2 🤣 this is one of em!
Keep going, it's worth the journey 😇
No, I didn't sample them myself.
I downloaded them years ago before LoopLoft got bought out by N.I.
Awesome.
By the way you could try using the Shift time module in between
the Scale Time module and Time input signal to create offsets.
Agreed. 😇
