Syntronik can’t install purchased instruments
When I got a new iPad last year I didn’t bother installing Syntronik as it took up so much room but decided today I’d give it a spin again. The problem is I can install the main app ok but can’t install any of the instruments I purchased, I bought all of them. I’ve logged into the app, restored my purchases ( even though it’s doesn’t show anything in the store) and used synth manager to try and install the extra synths, all that happens is the first synth just sits at installing and all the others just say waiting.
I did try installing Syntronik CS to see if that made any difference but in that version it wanted me to purchase everything again.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Hi. It sounds like you may be behind a firewall or ad blocker that is preventing this. You might try turning it off.
Just checked and I’m not behind a firewall, tried it on two different internet connections and it’s still the same. I have noticed when you click on download for one of the synths before it says downloading it briefly flashes up a% first.
OK. I notice that you describe buying individual instruments. I have the current free Syntronik (not CS), version 1.2.4, and it only offers 2 In-App Purchases, Syntronik and Syntronik Deluxe. The Synth Manager just jumps to the Store page. My copy takes 717 MB storage, so I suspect it's all there, and the IAPs are just unlocks.
I wonder if IK changed the options, and your old purchases are no longer supported. You may need to try contacting them.
That’s what I was beginning to worry about too, it wasn’t cheap buying the in-app bundles. I will try and contact IK but have read they are not the best at customer support, I can only try though.

I have found them to be pretty good about responding but sometimes it has taken a few follow-ups.
I am experiencing the same issue. For some reason I have all the iAPs installed successfully on my iPhone, but not on the iPad.
I started an email exchange with their Support team, but the first protocol they suggested did not work (I couldn't make sense of the references to a procedure involving iCloud.) I would attach their response here but that isn't cool per the confidentiality requirement in their email.
Blow it out and redownload it?
Tried this a few times, no joy
turn off or delete iCloud and try again?
I had the same issue - spent over $50 irc, and their “customer support” was rude and dismissive, acting like I was asking for a free upgrade or something.
It’s the last time I ever deal with that company.
They did something similarly shady with Mixbox too - I paid over $40; then they made that version free, putting AUV3 support behind an expensive paywall. Something that used to come with my paid version that I no longer have access to.
I’m in the same boat with Synthtronic (non CS version). Can’t download anything.

If there's no response then the nuclear option is to leave a negative review on the App Store, sometimes that's the only way to get them to acknowledge issues...
I’m going back and forth in emails with them currently.

I bought the full upgrade in 2017, about 57$ US “Syntronik Full”
It seems that the IAPs are now priced, named and organized differently, including two now higher priced options and a sub (as the Syntronik CS store shows them.) This my be the issue, that they’re glitching because of the price hike since I invested.
Waiting for the next response, after having sent them the evidence from my AppStore purchases. How much is a 2017 dollar worth in 2024?
I’m having a similar issue. New iPad and it wants to install files at launch but gets stuck and can’t proceed. I think it’s likely failing to download the base sample set.
Hi. I just tried this, deleted Syntronik, reinstalled, and opened stand-alone. It works, but takes a very long time to "install files", maybe 5 minutes on an M2 iPad, with no noticeable internet activity.
Thank you so much for trying this. I’m on an m4 pro and that status bar was instantly 95% full and not moving. I’ll leave the app up and see what happens.
That worked! Only thing is I run into similar issues trying to install anything through the synth manager. It seems to download fine but then gets hung up installing.
Similar behavior, after about five minutes it finishes installing. Guess if I really want to use it I’ll have to wait 17x5 minutes…
Good. I suspect it may be waiting for something that's already happened, so it's dominated by timeouts. It's not ready for fast, multicore processors.
after downloading, deleting and downloading the app umpteen times this finally worked.
i had been in touch via email with them for a few exchanges, the last step when i answered a request for a screen shot of my purchase of the full synth array, from 2017.
i didn’t hear back after that.
today I tried again after reading the latest post here.
everything downloaded and installed lickety-split, all 22 synths.
this on an Air 4, iOS 16.something
the only thing i did differently was not signing in to my account. opened store, restore purchases, opened synth manager and it started the process
