Koala question
When Koala reaches the final sequence, I would like for it to loop back to the first sequence instead of repeating the final sequence over and over,
Is it possible to automate this?
I’ve looked in the Koala manual for guidance but to no avail.
Thanks in advance! 🙂

Not possible to automate I'm afraid, but there are ways to achieve this by adjusting the playback options in the options menu. Wish I could give better advice, but honestly I'm exhausted. 😴 If I remember, I'll give a more detailed answer tomorrow. ❤️
I too don't think what you want is possible just in Koala. However, you could send midi from a sequencer to trigger the patterns and loop that. Atom 2 and StepBud come to mind.
I know that detracts from the elegance of doing it all in the box, but its the only way I can think of to do what you want.
beat thing to do is put all your patterns into one sequence, copy it to a new sequence, then add that to the the end of the first and so on and so on..
Just record the track in AUM, grab the file from Audioshare and drop it in one tab in Koala and loop the entire thing then you’ll have all the other pads wide open too…it doesn’t seem like there’s a limit for length of .wav files to each pad, and if there is it’s quite lengthy…i just dropped a 7 min file and it fully plays and loops back no problem.
Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure I know what you mean by “adjusting the playback options in the options menu.”
I’m afraid I’m not MIDI-savvy enough to be able to do something like that.🙂
Thanks for the suggestion. I think that’s what I’ll do.
Thanks for your input. I considered that until I realized that it would “bake in” all the chance triggers. What I’m after is sequences that will vary each time they’re played.
BTW, @jwmmakerofmusic @wim @Raggamuffin73 @BITCRUSHER Marek at elf audio has confirmed for me that this is not possible currently. He offered the possibility that it may be available in a future update.
That's great news! Marek is always innovating Koala, it's wild.
Yeah, just put all your sequence in one big sequence and loop that
