  • Can it accept live audio input in an FX slot (without having to Record or otherwise manually fill the buffer), or do samples have to be loaded in?

Here you can see WaveCloud as a live FX unit, acting as harmonizer, delay, reverb (explaining starts at 09:10, for an immediate effect check out around the 13:00 mark)

    Great thanks!

  • Great app. I think of it as the precision tool alongside Fluss and Spacecraft in my granular toolbox. Easy choice at this price.

  • Thanks for the video!
Cool app & another different approach to granular synthesis.

@thesoundtestroom could I ask how you got the grains to reach the end and then reverse back (as in your first example with the single guitar note)

Despite my best efforts I couldn’t work out how to do that :'(

Has anyone tried WaveCloud as an fx in Cubasis or Logic? Just tried in Logic (on desktop mind you but I assume it's little difference) and can't seem to get it to affect the input source. It looks to be recording when I play the host. Tried playing notes on a midi keyboard but this just affects the midi synth I have loaded on the track.

  • @iamspoon Yes, go to the WaveGlide section, set up a number of nodes, tap on the last node and set it to LOOP, then make sure that the TRANSITION MODE is set to GLIDE.
Staying on that last node you can set the TRANSITION TIME as you like, in Beats or Seconds.
If you watch the video from the 46 minute mark I show you how to do this in detail😊👍

  • Thank you, Much appreciated !
