Which App is your MIDI-Clock Master and why?
I have a pile of MIDI capable apps, but for the life of me I can't figure out which is the "best" to act as a god-clock for other iOS MIDI apps... It's like some of my apps talk to some of my other apps, but not everyone talks to everyone at the same time?
The apps I've tried with so far and not gotten any satisfactory results...
LoopyHD - sends too many clock messages
DM1
MidiBus
Turnado - receives only
Effectrix - receives only
Sector - sends clock only
Oscillab - Doesn't seem to receive tempo changes?
Which app do you use as a MIDI Master clock? What that one?

Am interested to hear what people have to say on this. Have kind of given up on midi sync in iOS. I hope that there is some universal thing like audiobus that sweeps in and fixes midi sync. If anyone has managed to sync Samplr to an iOS DAW please let me know how
Midibus can do this
sector.
why? because drums and clock at the same time makes sense to me, and sector is great anyway
Loopy hd master - sunrizer, magellan, turnado, effectrix, wow, samplr slaves. No problemo
Funkbox. Because samplr doesn't drift bpm when synced to funkbox and I can pass on ext midi clock to samplr this way
@BoWeavil or anyone do you know if midibus would work as master with BM2 and Samplr slaving from it at same time. Do not have midibus i think i will get if it can sync BM2 and samplr
samplr & midibus should work, not sure about bm2
Has anyone used 'Send MIDI Clock' from Cubasis? I noticed when syncing DrumPerfect, its bpm bounces around a few tenths while it is trying to sync; but it seems to work.

Samplr drifts ever so slightly with midibus and this affects the delays etc in samplr.
For some reason samplr doesn't drift at all when slaved to funkbox.
This might have changed as it's been a long time since I last checked this
Loopy works well for me - but usually I only sync one maybe 2 other apps at a time.
Loopy or Funkbox, depending on what I'm doing. I don't usually do any tempo changes and both are pretty solid for me.

Midibus can do this
If I used MidiBus, does it matter what goes where with respect to Inputs, Outputs, or Effects on Audiobus?

I've seen Doug from the soundtestroom use SeekBeats.
Can i use midibus with app not listed on ther site?
I may not do iOS music-making in the same ways you any given one of you might, but since I record my songs into Garageband it's GB's metronome that sets the pace. I imagine I would use the metronome in other DAWs for the same reason. Other utilizations are probably over my head at this stage, and I'm pretty sure iPhone apps can't match up to the sonic ardor of iPad apps!

Yes. The apps listed are referring to apps that also include the library in their guts - not apps that respond to MIDI.
This is what i wanted to ask, what is the diff between app with that midibus and w/o
I know all have coremidi
