Pitch Bend not working correctly in bass session player

Anyone notice the pitch Bend discrepancies with the bass player an LP? Firstly it defaults to two semitones and only goes up to 12. If LP is supposed to be MPE compatible the default is normally 48. But that’s not the only problem… If you set it to 12 and use the guitar play surface (with 4 strings) Slide along one string say from G to G an octave higher, the resulting pitch is A… Only two semitones higher. It’s for this reason that you can’t really play the bass from any external instrument without setting it to two semitones.-it just won’t track. It always seemed odd to me that different instruments. Have different PitchBend amounts. Some are 12 some are 48. I’m actually pretty sure that MPE has never been implemented properly anyways in either GarageBand or LP.
