SWAM instruments reverb off? SOLVED
Is there a way to set internal reverb to off?
I found only this mention "You can change the Reverb Time and the Mix. If Mix is set to zero, the reverb module is bypassed." here, but I don't see any of these parameters in the SWAM Tenor Sax app. I can only switch between Legacy reverb and new Ambiente. Maybe they are available only for desktop version?

@filo01 , you need to move the instrument(s) to the Close Mic Room which tells Ambiente you are going to use external effects.
It doesn't help. I still hear a reverb, probably the same as "Legacy reverb".
No more ideas… sorry 😊
@filo01 I managed to get rid of the reverb in SWAm Tenor Sax :
In Advaned / Room you need to enable Legacy Reverb and then tab the effects label shown instead of the room sim‘s overview. In the dialog, turn down the Reverb Mix to 0.
( I assume that Close Mic Room of Ambiente was also intended to work, but it currently doesn‘t )
There seemed a bug in swam.
Im sure iv mapped reverbs to be off.
Anyway.
When clearing midi mappings.
I couldnt find a button to clear all mappings.
Not sure why devs give parameters midi commands ?
Its bound to conflict with your own.
Theres a predictive crash when clearing the 2nd to last mapping ( I think )
So you have to leave some mappings.
Which I now need to check because iv probably forgotton midi channel allocation elsewhere, so might be conflicts.
Thats defo a reason for devs to not place midi commands on everything because the bug not only makes you un-map every parameter and for all the apps you bought.
Where you cant clear the last parameters and forget your system.
You may have clashing midi mappings.
Nope.
Theres a few midi parameters for each app on midi ch 15.
I skipped this in my overall mapping.
You save your own default preset, with the reverb off I guess.

@_ki can you go through that again please , I’m struggling to find the Legacy Reverb setting… sorry to be stupid ☹️
Left menu at the bottom is Advanced
Top right next to the X is Room
Legacy Reverb is there
When turned ON, go back to the main window and far right above Main Volume and Pan Pot, tap Effects
If Legacy Reverb is turned OFF, the Effects icon is replaced with the Ambiente minimap room view. Cick it to open Ambiente and it looks and behaves just like Ambiente (with only one instrument)
