QuadroSphere by 4 Pockets Audio (Released)
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/quadrosphere/id6740915664
QuadroSphere is a great tool for bringing an instrument to life by creating a soundscape with a constantly moving sound source. QuadroSphere splits the incoming audio signal into 4 distinct coloured frequency bands using the frequency bar. Each band has an associated coloured sphere allowing you to control the pan, stereo separation, and volume level.
You can use this plugin as a way to impose subtle control over stereo placement with little or no movement or go crazy with random automation. Adding effects such as reverb or delay on a specific frequency band can help create a lush atmospheric swirling which surrounds the listener. This is great for musicians trying to create minimalistic ambient or tranquil soundscapes.
You can create up to 12 snapshots of the sphere parameters and effect settings, then morph between them at a designated speed (measured in beats). You can also enable continuous randomization mode and have full control over which spheres and control which parts are automated.
You can also use QuadroSphere as a stereo splitter, using the additional outputs to add your own effects to band outputs.
Key Features:
○ 4 Configurable frequency bands.
○ Control stereo separation, level and pan for each band.
○ Create up to 12 Snapshots.
○ Morph between various panning, width and frequency band levels.
○ Modulation control for automated sweeps around pan center.
○ Convert MONO signals into a pseudo-stereo image.
○ Per band Haas, Delay, Reverb, Chorus and Compressor.
○ Allows combined and individual per-band audio outputs.
○ Continuous randomized morphing of the stereo field.
○ Built in Preset Manager with drag and drop support.
○ Power and Solo for each band.
○ Controlable morph speeds.
○ Various animated transition modes.
○ Access most options using AU parameters or MIDI CC control.

Looks awesome great tutorial thx!!
Does this have multi-out?
Just tried it out and it's very fun and easy to use. Just applying it to a simple arpeggiated pattern in a synth bring out new ideas and makes things bigger and more dynamic. It will be very interesting to see how it plays with different types of performances - obviously ambient but I think it will be very flexible.
Yes - it does - the help manual describes it and I tried it out in AUM. It shows 1-In and 5-out (looks like Pass through and Bands A-D).
I love that 4Pockets is pushing their UIs in exciting new ways now.
A multi out fx in aum channels ?
This app in a channel as an fx, with a synth above.
Then open a multi version of this app in another channel ?
You then have 4 aum channels ?
Correct
** Edit: you could add one more below, not counting the passthrough. I suppose the passthrough could allow for an instrument to play through an AUM channel and then that input could be processed in some way back in QuadroSphere, without it having any effect in the output chain in that channel. I don't see anything in place that does that, so it's just speculation. I'm sure Paul will explain how the passthrough will be used in a future video.
Cool thanks.
No more love for this app? It looks very interesting
It is a fascinating app.
I find it interesting but it's a bit too expensive for me at the moment...
Shame it’s not Mac compatible, like his other recent apps, but to be honest the demo’s haven’t tempted me yet.

100% love for this app. Unique effect and workflow, add instant movement to pads, percussion, etc. This has brought several stagnating projects to life already - and I'm sure I've barely begun to explore it.
Thanks, I bought it and have to say that it is very good, especially to turn mono signals into pseudo stereo sound. Works very well with drones and the multi-output of frequencies bands give you infinite possibilities to sculpt your sounds.
A bit expensive yes but it worth it. Something really unique here...
Is this an intro price? If so, for how long?
I've seen no mention of "intro price". I think it is regular price.
Thanks. Paul usually has an introductory offer but I couldn’t find anything either.
Very interesting, will it be ported to Mac?
