Any place for forum discussion? Feature request or bug reporting?

I'm certain this is the wrong thread, but I don't know where it should go lol

I'm not talking about discussing drama between users or with a developer or app

But things strictly revolving around the build of the forum itself

I found an issue (minor) got a request--

Issue to report: The Feature Wishlist forum (under categories) is still an Audiobus request area, according to the text

Feature Request: post reactions

Not as robust as discord, but like four

An agreement, a thanks (this worked), a laugh, and a 100 for top tier advice/big agree

Could help pare down on response chains and visually help people scan thru to see helpful posts at a glance

Thanks for pointing out the overlooked Audiobus reference. That has been cleaned up.

I moved this thread to “Other music content,” which isn’t great, but is the sort of catch-all place for stuff for which there’s no clear category.

  • Anyone else having an issue where some of the forum pages are in dark mode?

    Try clearing your browser cache.

  • Thanks wim. That fixed it but it happens again immediately if I browse here without being logged in. It happens when I am reading a thread and choose another page, especially if I choose the last page of a thread. I've never turned on dark mode on my iPad, I've never used it.

It's no big deal but I wondered about it.

Michael recently made a change to serve cached pages to non logged in users. That's probably the reason you get those results when not logged in.

It was one of the measures he took to try to clear up the forum performance problems that cropped up the last few weeks. I guess that's a side effect.

Just curious ... why log out?

  • I don't have a great reason for logging out.
After I check my local newspaper I have trouble surfing on my iPad until I delete my cookies. There are a distracting number of pop-ups and ads at that site, even though I subscribe.
I know I can selectively delete cookies on an iPad, it's just easy to hit that delete website data button, so that's what I do when I'm being lazy.
