DJ Apps: Mix live sources?
Are there any DJ apps that let you mix 2 live Audiobus sources? What I'd like to do is mix a live external input with Loopy HD and be able to crossfade. Are there any apps that can do this? Thanks in advance!

Bump. Anybody?
That's a really interesting idea. Never thought about that before and could definitely see its usefulness.
I can't think of any app that would serve this purpose unfortunately. I want to say MIMix with the right MIDI controller might pull it off, but I'm not 100% sure on that. This would be a very cool feature to implement into Audiobus proper (a crossfade between multiple routings in Audiobus).
@CalCutta thanks for the response! I looked at MIMix as a possibility. Crossfading in Audiobus WOULD be cool!
If you can't find a cross fading app you might try looking for an app with a mixer that will respond to custom MIDI messages. Then use one of the MIDI fader creation apps (like MIDI Designer or whatever) to create your own cross fader. MIMIX has MIDI control but it's currently listening on all ports so that could be a problem.
@syrupcore that's a very good idea, thanks
So how about using something like Beatmaker2 as a kind of basic mixer? (Loopy?)
2 or more Audiobus chains live into separate tracks in beatmaker - then use the beatmaker mixing desk to control the volumes of each (effectively cross fading). Then the cool thing is you could, I believe, also use all the beatmaker effects live on each track too.
Lots of Beatmaker is midi learn too (certainly the effects and I would expect the volume on each track). So you could then assign to a midi controller.
Just an idea but it might work.
