LayR app question
Hi, I use LayR for live performance in AUM.The multitimbral aspects of it work well for me. I basically have a bass synth on one midi channel, a chord synth on another midi channel, and a lead mono or polyphonic synth on another midi channel. Other synths may be added to any of these channels.
When using LayR I use only one session in AUM in which I can change presets that call different performances of LayR. This is much less CPU load intensive than having different instances of LayR loaded in AUM.
Here is my question. LayR has MANY assignable variables controlled by midi.
However Pitchbend range is not among them. You have to decide on your Pitchbend range globally.
Is there a strategy for making different Pitchbend ranges per instrument or performance within LayR ?
I realize I may be able to run my Pitchbend midi signal through a midi app to modify the signal range. I think it would be better to do it within LayR if possible.
In any case LayR is my favorite synth and fits my needs very well.
Thanks for your help.
