[VLaoladis] Meeting “Broken” Mita

Hello everyone!

Two months ago I saw a very heartbreaking scene in a trendy game called MiSide.
The combination of plot, visuals and voice acting clicked with me and I felt like I had to transform these emotions into music.
Two months of working almost every night - and I'm really happy to show the result to the world!

Of course, it has references to the context of the game itself and parts of the original Russian voice acting, so it's even more interesting how it's perceived by listeners who are out of both contexts.

Used Ravenscroft, KQ Dixie, Hillman Synth, Blue3 Organ, Logic Pro's drums and bass guitar, custom Drambo patches, own guitar, DynaBit for glitches and what not.

  • Fantastic work! Love those guitar parts, and I’m really interested in your custom Drambo patches.

I took a quick look at the game mentioned, and yeah, it doesn’t look like anything I’d be interested in personally. I always immediately scroll past anything that looks like it has a hint of anime art, but that’s just me.

Btw, If you have any Drambo patches you’d be willing to share, we’d love to see them at https://patchstorage.com/platform/drambo/

Also btw, you’ve got yourself a new subscriber on YT!

Hi! Thank you very much, I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it.

Actually on the Drambo side there was nothing special, just a couple of SFX

    • buzzing noise (works with CC1, Pan, Volume and Filter automation and reverb)
    • adjustable TV noise with 3 levels of pitch shifting . Tweaking pitches and dry/wet on each levels I managed to find a sound that was similar with old TV static noise
    • and a simple bass sound that you can hear at the very beginning. I've added Velvet Machine reverb + EQs on top to make it more ambient of course

I don't think they deserve a place on Patchstorage, but I've attached them to this message if you are interested
