ShapeStage Morphing FX Processor (Released)
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shapestage-morphing-auv3-fx/id6740706121
Hi all, I’ve been working hard on this new FX app lately! It features a series of effects, including drive, character, pitch shifting, time effects, motion, stereo spread, and texture.
These effects are organized into "stages," and you have four of them (A, B, C, D). Using the crossfader at the top, you can morph smoothly between the stages.
As if that wasn’t enough, I also added:
- 3 LFOs with morphing waveshapes
- 2 MIDI-controlled or cycled ADSR EGs
- An envelope follower
These can modulate stage parameters, stage morphing, and even mod source parameters like LFO rate, shape, EG decay, and more.
With the mod matrix, you can:
- Connect any mod source to any parameter
- Adjust modulation polarity (unipolar, bipolar, positive/negative)
- Control modulation depth
- Combine multiple mod sources and targets for wild, evolving modulations
Personally, I love using the app to spice up ambient sounds and create slowly evolving textures with gentle modulations. But you can also go crazy with modulation or use it however you like!
I’m currently beta testing the app, and it's already approved on the app store, just waiting for me to press the release button ![]()

Oh this looks fantastic Cem! Right up my alley. Can’t wait to have a play.
Believe me - this is excellent....👍 👍 👍
Interesting features there, I'm looking forward to some demos with keys/guitar/drums.
Oooh!
Not available yet….
Will check this out!
This looks really interesting … the modulation system looks powerful, but will wait to see what the effects are like esp “time effects” i.e. what kind of sounds is it capable of. Also whether it has a randomiser.
Looks cool

Looks really interesting @cem_olcay. Any chance of a more detailed breakdown of what the seven effect parameters actually do to give a better understanding of what it’s capable of?
Is this an introduction price or regular price?
I bought it...getting a lot of popping noises when using Motion and Spread though... @cem_olcay
once again… it would be wonderful if @cem_olcay would fix his buggy apps like InTheory before releasing more apps. Or at least at the same time.
This looks pretty fresh and interesting. Definitely giving this a shot.
I don't normally do instabuys anymore, because they often lead to insta-regrets. 😂 But in this case, @cem_olcay had me at "3 flexible LFOs" and "atmospheric textures and soundscapes".
Just tried the beta, it seems to click a lot when things are in motion or being morphed, is that expected behaviour?
It seems the app is already live, did you press the button too quickly Cem? 🤪
Hi all, I hope no-one minds but I merged the two threads on this app. Sorry this confuses the flow a bit.
Yeah, basically unusable as it is now...
Is it at start of knob parameter ?
Can you midi map, so then you can try cutting off the cc curve ( 0-127 )
Make it say ( 4-127 )
You mean like when changing them? I'll improve the quality now!
Yes, I just did click the button! I couldn't wait no more

looks very intriguing..... but also wondering if you might consider an xy mode for morphing between 4 presets (vs linear interpolation). I know In Alchemy on my mac's Logic they have a similar option for bringing in 4 sample layers.... xy or A->B->C->D and both are very nice options
Those control parameters related to saturation / distortion, delay time and feedback amount, pitchshifting, stereo spread and some kind of granular processing. Yeah app store description could definitely be more detailed in that regard
I actually get pops and clicks even when no effect is activated...
That's a good idea but it’s a bit late I’m afraid
The new version is on the way.
Great!
Really cool idea 🙌
Looks interesting @cem_olcay
Are there any more demo videos on this? Could do with a better idea of the range of its capabilities of soundwise.
Thanks for the extra details @Gavinski, appreciate it.
@cem_olcay it'd be great to be able to choose which of these effects are active (maybe I'm missing that option) and also re-order them. Also more options as to which aspect of the effect is controlled by the slider/modulation. Indeed it'd be great to be able to set parameters for each affect as well (eg. for delay not only time, but feedback, possibly modulation, mix etc).
Apologies if any of these options are already there and I've missed them.
