  • Interested, too, precious little buzz about it except from the dev.

  • Yeah looks interesting.. could be a nice streamlined MIDI looper.

Sadly no manual .. the dev (humourously) said something along the lines of ‘I don’t completely understand it myself yet’ on a YT comment.

If it can record note and cc data on different MIDI channels it could be a pretty weird/cool way to automate stuff and build parts.

    Definitely curious! B)

I bought this today. In just the first 30 mins I had tons of issues. Weird audio playback, dsp spikes, aum output audio being killed entirely til the session was cleared. Dev contacted, I'll update if things improve.

  • It's always been a bit batty

Pity nobody mentioned that here before lol, might have saved me a purchase. Buying apps is a minefield these days

  • Got a reply from the dev. Avoid this app for now:

"In due time I will fix these issues and update it, maybe I'll rewrite it from scratch using another technology. But for now, I'm super focused on bringing my VJ app VKO1 to Android. You are more than welcome to do a refund if you are low on patience."

The timing on this thing sucks but you can use it “creatively” if you smash enough parameters around and do some modifications (mozaic mela). The VJ app Vk01 is straight fun though.

That does look interesting. Does it work flawlessly?

Pray tell what of ANYTHING exactly is flawless

  • I can say he’s very responsive in regards to vk01. I suggested he implement apples metal shaders and he’s done so.

I mentioned to the developer that not all users live in jurisdictions where refunds are automatic. I added:

" Tbh...you should add a description to the AppStore for this automation app saying that it's completely broken and you'd recommend against buying it. Or you should temporarily withdraw it from sale. It's not ethical to sell it when you know it is completely broken, and are currently working on other products with only a vague idea of fixing it some time down the line."
