Logic Studio Bass: CPU usage
Is anyone able to play Studio Bass live with a midi keyboard and not have it hammer their CPU? I'm on an M4 iPad and even if open a new project with only 1 track with Studio Bass, if I try to play live, the CPU will eventually redline if I play fast, and I'll even get occasional popping sounds indicating the CPU is overloaded. It's been like this ever since they released Studio Bass, but I keep coming back to check it every so often to see if it's fixed, but no luck so far.
It's weird because it's fine if I use the session player to generate a bass line, but for some reason if I try to play live then the CPU just goes ham.
It's useless for playing live, which is a bummer because it's the best realistic sounding bass on iPad, imo.

Hi. What is your MIDI controller for playing live? If it has MPE or even just aftertouch, you might be sending a lot of MIDI messages.
Also, have you tried using a larger buffer?
