SWAM strings quartet + mandolin - “A Farewell Blessing”
This is a song I wrote for the passing of my grandparents. It’s a simple Irish-inspired blessing, using SWAM bass, cello and viola. My 10 year old played her violin to complete the pseudo-quartet. SWAMs are controlled with velocity keyboard, and tecontrol breath controller for expression.

Beautiful integration of both physically played and physically modeled instruments! I couldn't catch an audio difference thru the first playthrough (...not that I could actually separate much, wasn't ready for vocals and was already holding back the buildup of tears that have been welling for countless days), so when vocals came in, it was just a calming mass of sound and brain shut down (and apparently melted down and out all holes my face could drain)
Though I certainly will give more listens just for my own edification of how close SWAM can get to Real (a personal fascination and obsession)
Mandolin: was that real or modeled?
