iPad not Compatible
This is probably going to be a niche thread but I hope I'm wrong.
Been using Loopy for a few months now and really starting use it with the band with the amazing help I got here.
My current technical issue is annoying me.
Up until a few days ago I was using my Fractal Axe Fx 3 as my audio interface where I could have my guitar come out of one set of outputs and the iPad audio out of the other set.
All communication between the two have been using USB.
Recently got Midi guitar 2 working as well and all is good with the Axe 3.
I just bought a Fractal FM3 to lighten my load when going to rehearsal.
Along side transferring patches from the Axe 3 to the FM, I have hooked up my iPad with Loopy to mirror what I was doing on the Axe 3.
Turns out the two don't talk to each other when it comes to USB over audio with a tablet.
According to Fractal, "While some of our products may work with mobile devices, they don't officially support USB audio through an iPad or other mobile devices" (Again, I've had no issues with the Axe 3).
Did a ton of troubleshooting and there is nothing wrong with the FM3 as it works over USB with my Mac Studio and the FM3.
I'm here on the off chance someone has the same issue and figured out if it's possible to resolve the problem.
I assume I will now need to buy an audio interface to move my audio in and out of my rig.
Suggestions for something small and cheap?
I still plan on using my Axe 3 live so this is for home and rehearsal use.
iPad is an M2 Air.
