Apps with 3D Touch - are there any worth using?

I’m thinking about grabbing an iPhone 6s on Craigslist for $25 to mess with 3D Touch. Are there any apps with 3D Touch that are useful or fun?

    Geoshred - you'll find some vids online, looks really cool to play that with 3D Touch

    Velocity Keyboard can use 3d touch as well (similar to GeoShred* but purely a controller, zero built in sounds), though Ive never had a device to test it

    *Yeah like GeoShred Control, but no iaps to allow for baked-in sounds, is what I mean 😅

    There's actual 3D Touch that's specific to just a few older iPhone models, then there's emulated 3D Touch that uses the accelerometer and/or the width of your finger press to fake it. Velocity Keyboard uses emulated 3D Touch. You don't need a special device for it. I can't speak for GeoShred.

    Expression on Geoshred is pretty good...also having an audio jack to easily route it to a mixer is a bonus.

    Aye, while VKB has the faux finger mash velocity, it also supports old devices with legit 3d touch

    Geoshred definitely uses the real deal. Demos etc can be found on YouTube.

    I think thumb jam and drum jam utilised 3D Touch. Also GarageBand did at one point.

    I will say I miss 3D Touch when I upgraded from an iPhone 8 Plus. Geoshred was amazing to play.

    I do think they did something software wise after iOS 13 that replaced 3D Touch with multitouch/ haptic feedback. May want to look into that before buying

    in tc-11 and tc-data one can use both "touch force" and touch size as modulation source.
