Glitch hop?
So I had this glitchy percussion track and I wondered what it would sound like with a few trip hop elements. I’m sure this is not an original idea.
I’m calling it glitch hop although, since there’s seemingly nothing new under the sun genre-wise, I am probably not the first to use the term.
Anyway, this is my take on it.
For those of you who like origin stories, this was fashioned entirely in my old pal Koala.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Very nice, not really my thing but I enjoyed the laid back feel… well worth a bump 👍
Nice track. it has similar atmosphere that could be found on some of Fourtet and Burial tracks but with your own personal minimalistic touch. Thank you @GeoTony for your forum speleological work, I would have missed that one.
Thank you @GeoTony!
Thanks @JanKun.
Whatever I do musically, Burial’s Untrue is always in the back of my mind.
Keeping company with Music for Airports.🙂
That’s definitely something I’d listen to in the car, really enjoyed it.
I haven’t quite grasped Koala myself yet, have no idea how you approached making something so complex on it.
Actually, it’s not as complicated as it might sound. I’m a relative neophyte myself. Everything I know about Koala I learned from this excellent tutorial series:
