If u mean generative I think even the drummers and Apple loops from GarageBand is hard to beat.
GarageBand Drummer?
Doh! Why didn’t I think of that. Thanks wim.
Band-in-a-Box
Edit: no IAA no AU
On the topic of all these generative drummers, what are their relative copyright situations – if I made a song using Logic Pro drummer (and all the songs I’ve made in the past few years have only Logic Pro drummer for the drums because I detest having anything to do with making drum tracks myself) presumably it won’t give an identical outcome to someone else’s similar settings on a song of theirs, presumably it’ll be sufficiently different to avoid copyright problems – but what about any other apps in this category
So I’m interested in finding a particular GarageBand Drummer (Darcy) in LP4I. I can’t find by the drummer name from GB, did they rename all the GB stuff when it gets ported over into LP4I?
All of Apple’s loops and generative features are copyright free for users as long as you don’t try to sample and sell their sounds or loops as if they were created by you.
Apple isn't the potential problem @u0421793 is bringing up. It would be an algorithm, or person, recognizing the similarity in the drum track and flagging it as a copyright infringement.
It's a good question.
Although, I guess that could apply to royalty free loops as well.
Whether or not it would stand up in court isn't the issue. The burden of proof is on you in this case, and that's a pain in the butt even if it doesn't cost anything to fight.
If Apple’s studio musician tools generate patterns for you similar to someone else’s, that would not be unusual. I’m fairly familiar with the capabilities of the studio drummers, both the older and newer styles. There are clearly limits to what these models will do. They are not A.I.-style systems.
If you use Apple’s copyright free tools and loops, you’re going to sound like someone else at some point, but lawsuits are rare. Especially if no one is making any money using these things.
Speak for yourself. I've made hundreds of times more money from songs made with those tools than I have with the rest of my catalog.
Like I said in many discussion on the subject using midi beat is to me currently is the best solution on iOS.Here’s some I bought cheap during the holidays.

Then I use One Shot for the sounds and Helium that let you preview and browse midi files that you can then drag and drop in the time line.
Here’s the result:
Good! I’m glad you’re making a go of things with them. 👍
100 x $0 = $0

It's the 'Pop Songwriter' Drummer in Logic Pro.
Thanks! I was watching your vids last night to get my savvy improved. You’ve been a game-saver for me with your explanations.
